My top 4 favorite movies of all time are:
Bad boys 2
Underworld 1 and 2, and Rise of the Lycans
Batman The Dark Knight
Monsters Inc.
Bad Boys 2 is unbelievably funny. Action packed. Martin Lawrence and Will Smith collabed so well in that movie and created one of the most hilarious action comedies ever.
I remember watching that movie in theaters with my dad and my bro in 2003. I was about 11 years old. I felt so embarrassed watching it with my dad because he's the guy who's commentating and literally saying "Oh my God! You're killing me! 🤣" "Get it boy!" during the movie, but it was a great time. We all had tears of laughter. Stomach hurting laughter.
Bad Boys 2 is one of those movies where the profanity and vulgar just made it all the more funnier and enjoyable! I know that movie word for word.
The Underworld Series is so good to me. The last two movies they made were garbage though. Underworld Awakening and Underworld Blood Wars.
As far as Underworld, Underworld 2 (Evolution), and the prequel; Underworld Rise of the Lycans, they're done amazingly well to me. Great story. Dark. Action. Love and war. Drama. Fantasy.
I'm really into the vampire and werewolf theme. I've seen the Twilight movies. I'm not crazy about them, but I admit, INCREDIBLE story and writing.
At some point, I can see myself writing a werewolf story or somehow buying the rights to Underworld and redoing it, but making some changes and more in between movies. That would be a wild dream come true.
When Rise of the Lycans came out on DVD, I watched it 5,000 times. I couldn't get over how awesome and deep it was. Lucion is a beast.
Batman, The Dark Knight (the Joker movie) was the best. Heath Ledger, who played the Joker, gave his all and actually lost his life from going too deep into the role to bring us one of the best acting performances on screen.
He accidentally overdosed from taking pain killers and anti depressants so he could be as real of a Joker as he possibly could. Super sad. He really went all in and the result was devasting.
So everytime I watch that movie, I think of Heath the entire time and wonder what could've been done to stop it, but thank you Heath. You really did make one of the greatest hero and villain movies ever. No one can top that Joker performance. The art, improv, wittiness, and characteristics you gave that role was crazy good.
Christopher Nolan did a great job with the Dark Knight series as a whole. It wasn't corny. It had a real life feel to it and the thriller energy it had to it was perfect. It a mature series and had to be.
Monsters Inc is a favorite of mine because it's so fun! I love the spin they gave on it about monsters and humans. Boo gave it the cuteness and made us attach to her and the bond she was making with Mike and Sully.
All the emotions that a good Pixar/Disney movie should have was in that movie. Although, Pixar makes some great movies, I feel some of them have been too sad and didn't give me the craving to want more. With Monsters Inc, I felt it was a good time and entertaining throughout the whole thing. Super funny too.
Other movies I really like? Marvel phases. That would take a few pages to write about alone. I really enjoy Easy A, Mean Girls, Mr and Mrs Smith, Life, Rush Hour 1 and 2, the Little Rascals, and tons of other Disney movies.
Let me know your favorite movies!
Thanks for reading!
