In fitness, I'm very direct in communicating the convo to how long a goal takes and how consistent one must be to get stronger, lean, bigger butt, whatever it is. In retrospect, fitness goals take time but they don't take forever! It only feels that way when you want things too fast and don't have patience.

If you're consistent, time will pass by default, but you're going to look up 8 to 15 months from now and be like, "that wasn't that long after all." Focus on the work, tweak when needed to keep things interesting.

The timeline of the goal isn't that bad. Be patient. Do work. Every week. Little be little.
