How small trainers can compete against big trainers and gyms:
Talent, production, technology, distribution are 4 things that have made the giant online fitness brands create a great fitness experience. They're the big dogs. The big chains.
Smaller trainers like me, I focus on what I have control over in each of those 4 categories.
My talent is me. That's my expertise. That's my hardwork. My ability to care and communicate to my clients. My natural responses and intuitiveness.
Production, my place to make engaging content is through my living room or yard. I don't have the studio space where I can stream high quality looking content, but I have my space. That works. My book shelf is in my videos. That's different. It's a setting.
With technology, all I have is my phone android phone, but I don't dwell or wait for the fancy camera. I press record and use editing apps. I use my lane. My tools.
Lastly, distribution. Big brands have their own apps or major contracts with big companies like Amazon. I have YouTube. Instagram. Facebook. Tiktok. Free platforms to share and bring my workouts.
In short, I use the tools that I have and go deep! I don't really compete after all, I just stay in my lane and do my best job there.
